ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, PSYCHOLOGY: Mercyhurst College invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in social psychology to begin Fall 2008. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in social psychology, show a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, and provide evidence of scholarship potential. Teaching includes: social psychology at the intermediate and advanced levels, introduction to psychology, statistics, and research methods, as well as courses in candidate's area of interest. The position requirements are: teaching eight courses over the three terms of the academic year, conducting research, and providing related service (e.g., student advising and committee work). A research program should have the potential to involve undergraduates.
