I don't think our Board of Trustees deigns to be seen in the presence of mere faculty (but for those few they have rescued from our bedraggled ranks and bestowed with the (dis-)honorary titles of Dean and Vice-President. Come to think of it, I suspect that it is precisely those individuals' proclivities to wear ties and related /accoutrements/ that is the primary determinant of their having gotten such notice from those On High. :-) Chris -- Christopher D.
