Has anyone used the concept of Implementation Intentions (as studied, for example, by Gollwitzer, 1999 and Owens, Bowman & Dill, 2008) to help students overcome tendencies toward procrastination? I was just introduced to the concept in the Intro section of one of my grad Stat and Research student's research papers and it looks quite applicable to higher education.
