Researching the origins of the Lehman Brothers Inc they were Germans of Jewish descent setting in Montgomery AL in the 1840's. From Wikipedia in those early days they were heavily involved in cotton trading. Are there any scholarly references that show how Jews have directly benefitted from African American/Black slavery?
