William,

Thanks for the links - the first site requires your institution to be a member
or you have to pay to access the data unless I misread it, unfortunately
Frostburg State is not part of the group. However, the 2nd link provides quite
a collection that I have just begun to explore. If you are familiar with any
of them and wish to make a recommendation of one that would be the type of site
where students could access (either online or download) and analyze various
variables for possible correlations, let me know.

Thanks,

Bill

ICPSR is a huge resource.

and they have a list of other databases at:

I am looking for online data bases that contain psychological-related
variables that students could use to explore possible correlations
among various variables. This is for a research methods/stats course
and ideally it would contain a large collection of potential variables
where students could select 2 variables, download the data and do a
correlational analysis.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Best wishes,

Bill
