Tipsters have buried the idea that domestic violence peaks on Superbowl Sunday.
But the recent killings in a variety of situations are being commented upon as
due to the recession.Inquisitive minds appear to be looking for the "job
loss" and "anticipatory job loss" excuses and many are jumping on the
recession bandwagon for explanations. Is there supportive evidence to conclude
that there is a markedly increase in crime nowadays ? And should we expect a
resurgence of Dillinger,Bugsy Siegal,Ma Baker, and Bonnie and Clyde characters?
What's your read on recent crime stats?
