Hi All,

Such a requirement for psychology majors might not make sense but for journalism majors, this seems a realistic requirement.  Although the use of an iPhone vs. Blackberry certainly could be debated (Go Apple!), the ability to transmit text, video, and photos electronically from any location would seem a fundamental skill for future journalists.  The days of sitting in front of a stationary typewriter or computer back at the newsroom have gone the way of the dodo.

My hat's off to all journalists! These folks often risk their lives and freedom every day to bring us news from around the globe.

Best,

Linda

|According to the website for the Missouri University School of

|requirement) or iPhone to allow for the delivery of freshman-orientation
