I suspect that "a few enterprising individuals" will get squeezed out by 
megacorps in a very short time. Publishers are already on to this. 
Universities themselves are beginning to sell their on-line course to 
other schools that want to save money on staff. And the behemoths Google 
and Microsoft always lurk in the background of any potentially 
profitable on-line enterprise.
