There is actually a nice and simple way to do this. It requires that one use Firefox (not sure about IE) and the add-on called 'Abduction' which allows one to save a webpage as an image. Once installed, you right click on the page, and a new window opens with the page in it and the add-on lets you crop to whatever image you like. This method worked fine for the New Yorker cartoons. Have fun!
