Stephen - you really need to find another hobby :). As to the term "chick" - I, like Nancy, agree that it really depends on the context. I have a shirt that has a baby chicken with glasses on it with the phrase "Chick with Brains" that I have received compliments on. I call my daughter "chickie." However, if a stranger would call me that, I would probably be offended (unless I was wearing my shirt at the time:).
