I'm currently considering switching the book I use for the experimental and
research design course I teach. The current text (Experimental Psychology:
A Case Study Approach, 6th Ed. by Solso, Johnson, & Beal) was actually
selected by another professor who was originally scheduled to teach the
course, then I took over the course do to so many details I couldn't list
them all. I like parts of the book, but am wanting to explore other options
while I have the chance.

Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions on a good Experimental Design book. The
students I teach are required to have a statistics course prior to
enrollment, but many (if not most) don't remember much entering into the
course. The students are at about an average level in terms of ability (not
the brightest, but they are capable when they put their minds to it).

Sorry for the cross post to TIPS-METHODS, but I wanted to be sure and catch
everyone that I could...

If you send me your replies off-list, I'll provide a summary of the
responses in a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance to everyone...

Take care
- marc
