Our department has been charged with developing distance education courses
in several areas, including research methods and statistics.
I would like to hear from people who have produced or are using such
courses, particularly with respect to:
- which format the course uses (videotapes, lecture notes, & text;
web-based; cd-rom packages; canned packages; purchased from other
universities or departments, etc.)
- stumbling blocks in the production of these materials;
- sharing these materials or the entire course with other departments at
your university, or with psych departments from other universities;
- information about which publishers have such materials available,
and which been helpful or difficult to work with;
- feedback from students who have taken these courses;
- reimbursement for faculty members producing such courses.
We are aware of the Against All Odds video package. Thanks in advance for
any information you can pass along. If there is sufficient interest, I
will summarize and post the responses I receive.

P.S. Anyone going to the CPA conference next month, and/or know of good
