I have an opportunity for a grant to help in course redesign which emphasizes "creative teaching." The goal is for learner-centered teaching. The course which I am thinking to focus on is Biopsychology (I used the Pinel book), but other course possibilities are Behavior Management and Applied Psychology (which is an examination of counseling theories as well as general career preparation e.g. how to find your "niche" in psychology, resume-writing, etc.). My question is "what has been on your wish list?" In other words, what recommendations do you have about "things I always wanted to try?" My preference is for something that doesn't consume a lot of instructor time but still can be helpful for student-centered learning (though if an undergraduate teaching assistant can be used, that would be fine). Thanks in advance! Jerry Henkel-Johnson, Psy.D. Assistant Professor The College of St. Scholastica Duluth, MN 55812 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
