Rod
I've been using Baron's Psychology the past year and have been very happy
with it. I have found that it is at the right level, not to simplified and
not an encyclopedia. This is the first book I have used where my students
commented that the study guide helped them. The computerized testbank is a
breeze to use. I just looked at a test bank from ITP and couldn't believe
how difficult that one was. The Instructor's Resource Manual is the only
problem. It is not nearly as extensive as with other books.
Hope this helps

Subject: Introduction to Psychology textbook
Hi everyone:
Let me apologize in advance for bringing up a topic that I know has
been previously discussed in great detail on this listserve. If I had
known I would have needed that information I would have paid more
attention...
At any rate, I am going to be teaching an Introduction to Psychology
class for undergraduates this coming fall and am looking for a
textbook to use. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am preferably
looking for a text that also has good supplemental teaching aides
(ideas for class discussions, projects, sample test questions, etc).
Thank you for your ideas and suggestions!
With regards,
Rod Hetzel
