While I tended to be on the "science" side while it was still casual conversation, I dropped out of the thread because it seemed to be going in directions that weren't really productive for our group as a whole. I've never objected to a spirited pro/anti-religion (or science!) debate, but this really isn't the forum for it (in my opinion). Incidently, that "bible belt" theory needs to be modified a bit.
