Research comparing face-to-face (FTF) and computer-mediated (CMC) communication has been done by social psychologists specializing in small group research for a number of years. The latest references I can offer are from 1992. I am sure many more studies have been done and published since that time. Perhaps if you check the Social Sciences Citation Index under the authors below or use them as the starting point in a search engine, you may be able to locate studies dealing specifically with aggressive tendencies linked to CMC.
