Two points:
1. He wasn't asked to apologize because his post was insensitive, it was
because it was viewed (by Bill) to be intimidating--which is hardly the
same thing.
2. I have consistently _defended_ Michael's right to make insensitive
posts--including responding to Bill's post today; therefore I'm not doing
anything I have not supported HIS right to do as well.

Only if I win! ;-)
Please note that I have _never_ questioned whether Michael is a teacher
of psychology. I have questioned whether he teaches what I personally
regard as inappropriate material to his students, but anyone is equally
free to question whether I teach my own students what I state here (for
the most part, I do).

You must be missing something.
Since I have defended his right to free speech every time it has been
raised (barring none), there is certainly no reason why I should not be
able to exercise the same right in dealing _with_ him--particularly in the
spirit of humor as this posting obviously was intended.
