I'll third (or fourth) Dawn's recommendation of Bordens & Abbott. But I also
move the writing chapter up front, and also the chapter on theory. I really
like their process approach, and I've had good student feedback through 3
editions. The ancillary stuff (instructors guide etc.) are weak though.
