On our campus that is called plagarism. If that were to happen to me, my
options are: (1) flunk her at the end of the term and disappear during the
winter break, and let her go through the administrative appeal process,
remember that only you can change a grade; (2) refer the matter to the
student court with a charge of plagarism where a trial of sorts will be
handled (went through one many years ago where I successfully defended a
student against a similar charge by another faculty member in another
department) where the consequences can be course failure or dismissal from
VSU; (3) handle it internally between her and me always smiling
respectfully as she loses her cool. Remember a screaming match occurs
only if ***BOTH*** of you are screaming at each other.
Make it a good day.
