The psychology dept. is being told by our library that we are WAY over
budget on our journal spending (by $11,000) and we must make cuts to our
budget (I won't go into why we are suddenly over budget otherwise I will
begin ranting). I know others are going through this problem (by all means
have a personal b**ching session with me about this :). I will summarize my
answers, add what I have gotten to my web site and send it to the list serve.

We either must choose which journals go or the library will choose. One
factor that we are using to determine which journals are going is checking
which ones are now available full text on the web for at least some time
period. I have created a web site for our students linking them to journals
from Galileo (which has full text, but without figures or tables or
appendices) and I have links to Krantz's site and Armin Gunther's site.
Does anyone know of another sites with full text articles?
Other questions:
1. APA allows access of some of its journals if you pay them. Is this for
individuals only or is there a price a libary can pay for internet journal
access.
2. I just received a notice from Wadsworth publishing that discusses
InfoTrac which states that they have some full-text articles from up to 4
years ago. Anyone know the cost (yea, I know you get it free for 4 months
with the book)? Anyone know how good it is?
