Ah, once again we run into the disagreement about the definition of
"paraphrase". I'm starting to think that I'm in the minority as a person who
refers to proper summarization of a source as "paraphrasing". I agree with
Miguel, of course, that summarizing doesn't involve going through the source
line-by-line and summarizing each piece, but rather it involves finding main
points, and expressing those in one's own words. It's just that I refer to
that process as "paraphrasing" as well. I'm starting to think I should fall
in line with the rest of the world, though, and begin distinguishing between
"paraphrasing" and "summarizing".
