Since there are individual differences in the "subjective threshold"
how is the "objective threshold" determined?
If it is based on statistical analysis, how are the subject and
presentation variables controlled?
A few years ago a student played in class a tape of songs
backwards. One was Queens' "Another bites the dust"-it came out as
"you have got to smoke marijuana". The Eagles' song "Hotel California"
had a section that sounded like "my sweet satan".And he was able
to show similar words for Led Zeppelin and the Beatles number nine,
number nine, number nine.
Btw while on this subject of songs (free associating),as a mobile
DJ,I came across a CD titled by a group called The Stanford Prison
Experiment.

Has anyone listened to the tracks of that CD? is it worth playing
as an adjunct to discussing Zimbardo's study?
