TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: The Department of Psychology at the
UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS, Fayetteville, invites applications for a tenure
track position in the Experimental Training Program at the Assistant
Professor level beginning August 2001. Women and minorities are
especially encouraged to apply. We are interested in applicants who have
a specialization in the area of statistics and methodology and who have
training in a traditional topic area within psychology (e.g., cognitive,
social, developmental, etc.). The successful applicant will teach
undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics (ANOVA, causal modeling,
factor analysis, regression) as well as courses in his or her content area
of expertise. In addition, applicants whose area of research interest
enables them to contribute to our focus area in Social and Cognitive
Processes are especially encouraged to apply. Internal research support
is available from a major endowment to the Department. Review of
applications will begin on December 15, 2000 and will continue until the
