We are all victims of our frame of reference. There is at least some
probability that Dr. Farwell may be correct. There is some evidence that
under functional magnetic resonance imaging that quantum coherence occurs in
human brains. This is a necessary requirement that the brain be a quantum
computer. I reference the research at my site at http://turn.to/ai . It
is important to note that quantum mechanics is used in everyday electronics.
Dr. Ron Spencer's has used Correlational Opponent Processing and wavelet
model to generate analog bipolar spectral associative memories with quantum
properties and recently his student used analog wavelets in circuits using
modulated current in a standing reference frequency. His paper reads like a
psychology paper on how the brain works, but he is talking about his circuit
design and their uses.
The magic of quantum mechanics especially in regards to non-local
communications, instantaneous time, information from the future and past
suggest the possibility that almost every wild idea that psychology has felt
comfortable rejecting will have to be reexamined. Such unpleasant
possibilities include precognition, telepathy, pk, out of body experience,
near death experiences, creation of matter from thought, etc.......
I would suggest that ultimately quantum mechanics must obey the gaussian
laws and conservation of information in multiple universes. This means that
our traditional approach will be difficult to totally ignore.
