Unless I am reading it wrong, it is even worse than that. Only one of the four 
studies reported involved human participants (Experiment 3) and, of their 
participants, they said the following:

"Participants. Thirteen undergraduates were recruited from introductory level 
psychology classes. Some participants received course credit for participation. 
Seven participants participated in Condition 1, and six participated in 
Condition 2. One participant in Condition 1 was eliminated due to prior 
familiarity with the Monty Hall Dilemma, leaving 6 participants in each 
condition."

Nothing is said about them even being math majors and given the percentages of 
math majors in an intro psych class, I doubt that undergraduate math majors 
made up much of the sample.

I was thinking the same thing about the article. It appears, on scanning it, 
that they may have used a bit of spin- "mathematicians" sounds better than 
"undergraduate mathematics majors". :)
