Hi all, I have my Research Methods students doing their first SPSS assignments and as usual it has been truly a nightmare. :) The students that are working on MACs are having a horrible time. They have to open virtual windows and other stuff (I'm a PC gal and so I am clueless). I understand SPSS and have been teaching Methods with SPSS for about 5 years now. My question though is, what does it mean when they set up there data table and then when they try and enter data all they are getting is columns of question marks? This seems to be happening a lot.
