So you are about to cover the chapter on learning and conditioning and if you are like many profs I know you will forget to mention that in preparing the rat for operant conditioning,the rat must first be made hungry by bringing it's weight down to 80 % and hence there is a motivational aspect aligned with succesful approximations and successful conditioning. Am I correct? Show me(I am a Mizzou alumnus) where I am mistaken..
