Kulynych/Cline Distinguished Visiting Professorship in Psychology
Appalachian State University
The Department of Psychology at Appalachian State University
invites applications for a 1 to 3 year appointment at a rank
commensurate with experience beginning August, 2011. The
successful applicant is expected to have the appropriate terminal
degree and to engage in scholarly activity that promotes the
visibility of Appalachian State University in the professional
community. Responsibilities include developing a colloquium
series featuring prominent scholars, teaching a course each
semester related to his or her field of expertise, and
collaborating with faculty in scholarly activities and their
professional development.
Appalachian State Unniversity is a member institution of the
seventeen-campus University of North Carolina. Located in Boone,
North Carolina, the university has approximately 17,000 students,
primarily in batchelors and masters programs in both liberal arts
and applied fields. Appalachian has both a traditional
residential campus and a variety of distance education programs.
