You could bring an air gun to class and blast it on a specific word in your lecture,,for example, Chomsky,. After two or three blasts pairings ,students will begin to display fractional anticipatory startled responses.You are now covering all the bases of learning,thinking,and language in this conditioning experiment. Btw,with many institutions now considering allowing faculty and students to pack heet,you probavly could bring a real piece,instead of the air gun.
