Men kissing on the lips happen but it is rare. However,it is more common
among gays especially from TV coverage of Gay days at Disny world.
It is not unsually for boys to hold hands while walking.I observed that
behavior in Belize (formerly British Honduras.)
The point that I was trying to make in my original post is that a
homosexual relationship should be defined as one where one has a preferernce
to have sexual intercourse (including fellatio and cunninligus) with the
same sex,
U.S -centric society is quick to label someone as gay if someone remains a
bachelor, hardly seen with women, and prefers comraderie of males. The same
seem to appear the labeling of women. My point is that unless a sexual
partner is identified or evidence of same sex sexual experience then one
should not be classified as gay.U.S-centric society is so homophobic that
any closeness between males is perceived as gay intentional movements.
In general, women keep better eye contacts when talking. But men may avoid
intense eye contact in casual conversations.
As the cross-cultural dude on Tips, there are cultures where
men only parties(MNiddle-East) and the guys dance together.(Please note that
the GEICO commercial displays two men doing the Tango at the very end). Two
good books on Proxemics are by Edward T.Hall -THE HIDDEN DIMENSION and
SILENT LANGUAGE. U.S is not a close contact society-if two dudes go to a
movie, they will leave an empty chair between them
where they sit.I have also observed that same behavior at the urinals.Men
urinating at urinals will leave an empty urinal between themselves.
