Shouldn't this be psycho-neuro-immunology?
I think the sequence is critical.

Hello,

I can't speak directly to the brain-food-behavior interaction, but neuro-psycho-immunology was a great area of strength, interest and collaboration at the University of Minnesota when I was in grad school there.

I would be a little skeptical of the amazing results you report from the TV show for all the reasons you list, but I would believe that dietary effects on cognition and mental health in general are likely. In addition to possible immune effects, food is also the source of neurotransmitter precursors and can often contain psychoactive compounds.
