For gorillas, that is.  The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS),  which
runs the Bronx Zoo in NYC, and researchers from the Max Planck Institute
for Evolutionary Anthropology have published a paper that examines the
correlations between features of male gorillas and the number of mates
and offspring and have found a positive correlation.  The popular media
