Hi,
I just started the book *Connectome* by Sebastian Seung and I wondered if
anyone on TIPS has read it. I've only just covered the introduction and
Chapter 1, so I don't have a real opinion yet. So far I find it engaging
and readable. Not really anything completely new, but still presented in an
interesting way. The basic premise is that we are the product of our
brain's wiring, which itself is a blend of genes and experience.
Hypothetically, mapping the connections yields a connectome, much like one
might examine a genome. So far it seems like a reenactment of
nature/nurture, but I've been enjoying Seung's writing style. Anyway, I
just wondered if others had anything to say about it one way or the other.
