I thought I'd let everyone know that I will be appearing on several episodes of
the television show "Dark Matters". Yes, the show includes dramatizations of
famous experiments and studies in the history of many sciences, but I know a
great deal of effort went into fact checking for every episode. In addition to
the dramatizations, the show features "talking heads" (like myself) who explain
some of the background info on the featured study. I'll be appearing in these
episodes talking about:
Hypnosis (Mesmer)
The Zimbardo Study ("Lucifer Effect)
Lobotomy
Dopamine/Parkinson's ("Frozen Addicts)
The Unabomber
Pavlovian Conditioning
The show airs in my area on Saturday nights at 10pm on the Science Channel.
