It was definitely fun to do the filming. They used a dark room for the filming
in order to maintain the "mystery/drama", but the content is all good. I
checked it myself. When we talked about neuron communication for the
"Awakenings" episode it was their idea to use a set of dominoes and a rubber
ball to demonstrate how when one neuron fires (the first domino is knocked
over) it sets up a reaction that releases neurotransmitters (the rubber ball)
across the synapse (space between the set of 5 dominoes) and knock over the
next set of dominoes. The producer has an advanced degree in physics.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet John Noble. The rest of the episodes are
shot in the UK.
