Hello Tipsters: This is a cross-posting I made to psychteach:
I am looking for a longevity questionnaire. I have one that I was very happy with but I acquired about 25-30 years ago but I am sure it is quite out of date. It was very good and based on actuarial data and asked students very many questions. I believe it came from a textbook on adult development (yellow; but the author's name escapes me, I want to say Diana Woodruff-Pak?). One problem is that life expectancies have changed since then; another is that it forced students to pick either caucasian or african-american as their ethnicity. Well, that certainly omits a chunk of the population! I suppose 25-30 years ago that was acceptable. I am looking for something newer but am having trouble finding anything by just googling. What I liked: it covered very many variables about health, life style, dispositions, family history, habits, education, SES, etc. Do any of you have such an instrument? Can you please share? Thanks!
