Hi Although recognizing the importance of chance factors, probably psychologists do still want to promote the importance of effort (hard work, efficacy, ...) to achieving success in whatever field (grades, sports & entertainment, ...). After all, there are many beautiful women in the world who did not achieve Salma's success and "contacts" do not generally drop in people's lives out of thin air.
