So I've been asked to teach a class on Mexican-American Psychology in the Spring and have decided to take on the challenge. I understand that I may lack the ethnic credibility but would like to believe that by allowing the students to own at least some of the class time (using meaningful experiential exercises for example) I can do a good job. I will accept and appreciate help from my TIPS colleagues across the spectrum of cultures and nationalities. I will also cross-post this to PSYTEACH (just be forewarned) in the next few days.
