I don't use twitter myself, but some colleagues recommended I check out
#OverlyHonestMethods.

I'm glad I did.

Some of my favorites:

The outliers were discarded because the PI has OCD and can't handle an
imperfect curve.


I used students as subjects because rats are expensive and you get too
attached to them


Blood samples were spun at 1500rpm because the centrifuge made a scary
noise at higher speeds.


we did experiment 2 because we didn't know what the f$% to make of
experiment 1
