Hi Annette- Your frustration is exactly the reason that we got a netbook instead of a tablet. I don't think that it matters whether you try screen typing on an Ipad or an Android or Windows tablet. I've found them all to be a frustrating experience. In addition, I like having the ability to directly plug in USB and SD cards. Right now we are finishing up a vacation in Spain and it has been easy to transfer pictures from the cameras to the netbook. Add in the plus that I can use all of my familiar Windows software and I can't imagine going to a tablet of any kind.
