I hope some helpful tipsters have some advice for me. I received the following request from a former student. I have really nothing off the top of my head and am BURIED in grading 56 essay exams and LONG term-papers from my cognitive class.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking in terms of "visuo" spatial memory for her but nothing comes to mind immediately. ----------------------------- Next term I will be teaching a 12 week "Memory Boosting" class to students who are blind and visually impaired. Traditionally, this class has been a memory game type class. However, I plan on making the class more skill oriented. My hope is students will gain adaptive living skills that impact their quality of life. People with visual impairments rely on their memory more than most populations.
