Dear Colleagues: We are pleased to announce that ONTOP 2014 will be held on Friday September 19th on the OSU-Stillwater campus in Willard Hall. ONTOP is a collaborative effort of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education at Oklahoma State University. We are pleased that this year is our 8th annual conference.
Keynote Speakers for ONTOP 2014 Include: Professor Eric Landrum, President of the Society for Teaching of Psychology, Div 2. APA <http://sspa.boisestate.edu/psychology/faculty-and-staff/landrum/> Sarah Brookhart, Deputy Director at the Association for Psychological Science (APS)<http://www.psychologicalscience.org/index.php/about/staff-resource-directory> Other spoken presentations will be selected from submissions, covering any topic related to teaching in general or teaching in psychology (e.g., teaching resources, best practices, and/or teaching activities). If you would like your presentation to be considered for inclusion in the spoken program, please submit a 300 word abstract by email to <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. In the subject line of the email, include the phrase “Abstract for ONTOP 2014.” At the top of the abstract, please include "Spoken Paper." Also submit all co-authors’ names, titles/positions, institutions, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and preferred email addresses. The deadline to submit an abstract for a spoken presentation is August 1, 2014 (5 p.m.). Submissions that are not accepted as spoken presentations will automatically be accepted for the poster session. If you would like to submit a presentation for the poster session, please submit your abstract by September 1, 2014 (5 p.m.). Include in the top of the abstract: "Poster Session Only." Acceptances will be emailed to authors by September 8,, 2014.
