This is not about Erikson's psychosocial idea of development,but pertains to a small island off the coast of Scotland with only 26 residents,where they have a tradition of not locking their doors.Doors have not be locked for the past 40 years.However, the island reported its first theft a forthnight ago. Some culprit went into the small boutique-stole every item and victuals-and did not leave any money in the 'honesty' jar. British bobbies have been brought in to help solve the crime.
