Hi, I'm hoping somebody can make a suggestion for a book or some readings on transgender issues for a first-year seminar. In the past, I've used Becoming A Visible Man by Jamison Green. It's still a great book in many respects but so much has happened in the last 10 years. I'm hoping to find material that is informed by theory and not just personal experience. I've collected a number of articles from NYTimes magazine, etc from the last year that I could use but I'm hoping for something more academic (but accessible) as well.
