This issue came up in a faculty meeting today... is there or is there not some "evidence" for the value of cumulative final exams for learning?
There seems to be a bit of disagreement about this. I have no references to cite specifically one way or the other. If anyone has some, please send them to me, and I can summarize and post to list.
