You're right, and no there isn't. This has been happening since almost day one. The issue is that the units are designed to auto-enable 'new' channels. And there are a handful of channels that DTV routinely 'removes' and then 're-adds' to the lineup. Every time they do that, it looks like a new channel available to the unit, so it is enabled.
