Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the algorithm they use to decide what to record. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks. I put in "martial arts" for example and the first night I was watching the news and it switched to record a movie called "American Gun" which had nothing to do with fighting action ....then last night I noticed the next film coming up on the channel I was on was the martial arts film "Hard to Kill" with Steven Seagal.......I waited expecting it to start recording...nothing. And I keep getting odd episodes of old TV shows from "Lassie" to cartoon programs. I can't figure it out.
By the way, can I copy TIVO programs to a DVD burner?
