Sounds normal to me actually. Nothing to do with the remote at all, just processing the larger database and looking for all the matches is all. And it happens on *all* TiVos, nothing specific to the Humax. Although the Humax, Toshiba, and 5x series (silver) TiVos are a little bit slower than the older 2x series (black) Series2 boxes. The internals were changed to reduce cost and performance dropped a little. The more the unit is doing at the time - downloading, processing new data, transferring shows to/from the unit, etc - the slower it gets. And the more complete the wishlist, or the more hits, the longer the DB queries take.
