Found a nice way to sort movies by name when doing search. Normally, I'd
have a Wish list for movies and it'd give you a list of all of them in
NON-alphabetical order. This is confusing when you look through them.
However, if you go to "Search By Title" and select "Movies" and type in only
letter "A" into the search, you'll get all the movies for 10-14 days or
however far in advance your TiVo loads schedule (depends on # of channels
you have and how many are favorites and you specify in the set up). This way
you can quickly run through them all in Alphabetical order and chose what
you want. I like it much better than Wish List which I deleted. You can do
the same for any other category you have.
One thing, movies starting with numbers ("50 First Dates" e.g.) are always
above programs starting with "A", so you have to go up to see them all.
The only thing I'd love to see changed in this format is that programs with
the same name but on different channels show up as separate entries. It can
be one movie with 5-6 entries, would be better if it was just one entry to
save space and then you just click on "View Upcoming Episodes". This would
make the scan even faster. But this is good anyway.
Sincerely,
IGGY Dybal
