I don't do this with my TiVo unless I'm in a big hurry because the quality
is a little better going TiVo2Go -> Nero, but I have a Panasonic DVD
recorder with a hard drive. I just hook the s-video out and the audio outs
to the DVD inputs, making sure I can see the TiVo output on my TV when I'm
tuned to the DVD input. I then start the TiVo program and press the OTR
(one touch record) button on the DVD recorder (press twice for 30 min, three
times for 60 min, etc.) I usually capture the program on the hard drive,
but it could also burn it directly to disc if you have a model without a
hard drive.

Subject: [TiVo Central] which DVD Recorder should I buy?

transferring videos to my computer is a long process so I am thinking
about buying a standard DVD recorder and hooking that up to my tivo.
any thoughts? anyone currently using this method that can share your
experiences - how long it takes, steps used to transfer exactly?
